About The Position

Easterseals PORT Health is seeking a full-time Substance Use Intensive Outpatient Facilitator to provide services to clients in Whiteville, North Carolina. The position is onsite, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at a stated pay rate of $22.60 per hour.

The facilitator primarily provides client services, including facilitating or co-facilitating psychoeducation and psychotherapy groups. The role also involves developing aftercare plans, maintaining contact with clients’ family members and referral sources, supporting a therapeutic environment, and working with consumers and the team to create treatment goals and monitor progress.

Requirements

• CADC certification is required.
• Two years of experience in substance use services.
• Knowledge of therapeutic practices and group facilitation techniques.
• Problem-solving and crisis de-escalation skills.

Nice To Haves

• Provisional licensure is preferred.
• LCAS-A is accepted.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate or co-facilitate psychoeducation groups.
• Facilitate psychotherapy groups.
• Establish client aftercare plans.
• Initiate and maintain contact with family members.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date referral sources.
• Maintain a therapeutic environment and promote appropriate, healthy interpersonal behavior.
• Collaborate with the team and consumers to develop treatment goal plans.
• Monitor progress toward treatment goal completion.
