About The Position

Centurion is seeking a Part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their Substance Use Disorder (SUD) team at Chesapeake Detention Facility in Baltimore, Maryland. The LPN will be responsible for conducting nursing practices and procedures related to substance use addiction services and medicine, providing direct patient care to individuals struggling with substance abuse and addiction. Familiarity with substance use, treatment modalities, and detoxification protocols is required. This is an evening shift position, working 16 hours per week from 4 PM to 12 AM.

Requirements

Licensed LPN with an active license to practice in Maryland
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Minimum of one year of work experience as an LPN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care facility
Two years of experience working as a LPN
Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Corrections experience preferred
