About The Position
Crossroads Treatment Centers is seeking a Substance Abuse Counselor to join their team. Crossroads has been a leader in treating patients with opioid use disorder since 2005, providing accessible, high-quality, evidence-based medication-assisted treatment (MAT) options. They are dedicated to combating the opioid epidemic and helping individuals achieve long-term recovery through a comprehensive outpatient approach. With clinics across the U.S., Crossroads aims to improve treatment access for a significant number of patients. Requirements
- General experience working with underserved populations in a clinical setting.
- Lived addiction experience is a plus.
- LMSW, LCSW, LAPC, LPC, or LADAC certifications/licenses

Responsibilities
- Provides individual counseling to highly complex patients
- Conducts clinical assessments to appropriately assess patient’s treatment needs
- Designs and updates the patient’s treatment plan, including care coordination, referrals, and discharge planning
- Manages assigned caseload and compliance with clinical treatment requirements
- Collaborates with nurses and providers to provide holistic treatment services
- Facilitates urine drug screening for patients
