We’re seeking a talented Mid-to-Senior Submarine Electronic Warfare Engineering Technician to join our team in Groton, CT. Requirements

  • Active Secret US Government Clearance: (Note: US Citizenship required to maintain a Secret clearance)
  • Mid-Level Education & Experience: High School Diploma/GED and five (5) years of practical experience, OR an applicable degree/formal electronics training combined with three (3) years of practical experience
  • Senior-Level Education & Experience: High School Diploma/GED and ten (10) years of practical experience, OR an applicable degree/formal electronics training combined with six (6) years of practical experience
  • A proven track record of troubleshooting and fixing operational hardware/software under pressure.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% to support the mission.

Responsibilities

  • Installing, monitoring, and servicing equipment and systems at Company and client sites.
  • Performing or coordinating test and evaluation, checkout, and certification AN/BLQ-10 tasks.
  • Performing validations/verifications of BLQ-10 operational electronic systems.
  • Developing technical/engineering data for Planned Maintenance Systems (PMS), technical manuals, troubleshooting procedures, drawing updates, operation procedures, and maintainability improvements.
  • Implementing Engineering Change Instructions (ECI).
  • Training others in the operation and performance of the system(s).
  • Interfacing onsite directly with the customer for equipment/system installation, testing, survey, fabrication, and other engineering tasks as needed.
  • Ensuring compliance with engineering documentation standards, engineering plans, system specifications and test procedures.
