About The Position

Koniag Professional Services, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Subject Matter Expert (Passport SME) with a Secret security clearance to support KPS and its government customer in Washington, DC. This is a future new business opportunity, and the position may not be filled if the contract is not awarded. The SME supports mission objectives by advising, developing solutions, and implementing efficiencies in a specialized technical area. The role calls for strong analytical skills and the ability to produce or review sophisticated technical documentation as defined in the Statement of Work. Requirements

At least 8 years of experience in the designated subject matter expertise area.
A master’s degree in a related field or 12 years of relevant experience.
Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

Provide expert guidance to support mission objectives and organizational efficiencies.
Develop, analyze, and improve processes in the area of expertise.
Solve complex operational and technical problems.
Ensure organizational and technical compliance with relevant standards or regulations.
Produce and/or review substantive and complex technical documentation.
Offer strategic recommendations based on subject matter expertise.
