Subject Matter Expert (Passport SME)
About The Position
Koniag Professional Services, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Subject Matter Expert (Passport SME) with a Secret security clearance to support KPS and its government customer in Washington, DC. This role is for a future new business opportunity, and may not be filled if the contract is not awarded. The application deadline and start date may change depending on the contract status; applications will be accepted through the expiration date or until the position is filled. The SME supports mission objectives by advising, developing solutions, and implementing efficiencies in a specialized technical area. The position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to produce or review sophisticated technical documentation as defined in the Statement of Work.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in the designated subject matter expertise area.
- A master's degree in a related field or 12 years of relevant experience.
- Secret security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance to support mission objectives and organizational efficiencies.
- Develop, analyze, and improve processes in the area of expertise.
- Solve complex operational and technical problems.
- Ensure organizational and technical compliance with relevant standards or regulations.
- Produce and/or review substantive and complex technical documentation.
- Offer strategic recommendations based on subject matter expertise.
