About The Position

As a contract specialist, you use your sharp negotiation tactics and talent for organization to help manage critical documents. We need you to bring your contract management strengths to our Space and Military Intel team, where you’ll be a valuable collaborator who helps find creative solutions to complex problems for an advanced technology company. On our team, you’ll use your subcontracts administration, procurement, and proposal experience to capture, implement, and manage a range of proposals and contracts. In this role, you’ll touch every element of government acquisition, from beginning stages to completion. You’ll review and analyze solicitations for potential risks, guide suggested proposal strategies, and advise leadership on risk mitigation strategies. As a trusted business partner, you’ll collaborate on the negotiation and administration of contracts with various U.S. Government Customers across a breadth of contract types. You’ll also use your negotiation, price analysis, FAR, and finance skills to support the mission. Requirements

  • Experience supporting specific subcontracts administration or procurement in support of U.S. Government subcontracts, Civil, or Commercial clients
  • Experience with Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR) compliance
  • Knowledge of supporting proposals in a demanding and fast-paced environment for Defense, National Security, or Civil federal acquisitions
  • Knowledge of negotiating various contract types, including Firm Fixed-Price (FFP), Firm-Fixed-Price, Level-of-Effort (FFPLOE), Cost-plus-fixed-fee (CPFF) Term and Level of Effort (LOE), Time and Materials (T&M), Indefinite-Delivery, or Indefinite Quantity Contracts (IDIQ) types
  • Knowledge of federal acquisition regulations (FARs), General Services Administration (GSA) schedules, Government-wide Acquisition Contracts (GWACs), or IDIQ vehicles
  • Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • HS diploma or GED
