About The Position

You will be the Subcontract Management staff for the Precision Strike Missile (PrSM) program team. Our team is responsible for performing subcontract management duties to support the development, production, and global sustainment of complex subsystems, components, and hardware. As the Subcontract Management Senior, you will play a critical role in negotiating prices, analyzing costs, and ensuring compliant procurement documentation, while leading multifunctional subcontract management teams to achieve program goals.

Requirements

Must have the ability to obtain a security clearance (not required to start).
Experience managing supplier relationships and cross- functional teams.
Able to lead groups in problem solving.
Excellent communications, negotiations, presentation and documentation skills.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Nice To Haves

P2P, SC Nav, Tableau, and/or SAP experience.
TINA Negotiation experience.
Cross-functional knowledge of Supplier Quality and Engineering, as they relate to subcontract management.
Ability to create and present using Microsoft Office tools.
Ability to interact with senior management, suppliers and other external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between functional organizations.
Ability and willingness to travel to supplier facilities to participate in meetings and to resolve subcontract/program issues on-site, as needed.
Understands procurement on a development program.

Responsibilities

Procuring and managing subcontracts for complex subsystems and components
Managing supplier cost, schedule, and technical performance for moderate-to-high-risk subcontracts
Leading the development of subcontract specifications and terms and conditions
Preparing bid packages, evaluating proposals, and negotiating subcontract provisions
Administering subcontracts and managing change activity
