About The Position

PGS Worldwide is seeking a Subcontract Administrator in Lexington, KY for a one year contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. In this role, you will support logistics and sustainment efforts across multiple programs and platforms with a global supply base. You will manage subcontracts throughout their full lifecycle while ensuring cost, schedule, and performance objectives are achieved.

Requirements

  • Experience in government procurement/subcontract acquisitions with understanding of global supply chain or complex procurement practices
  • Ability to conduct data analysis, research, and support negotiations using multiple data sources
  • Strong understanding of cost/price analysis and establishing negotiation positions
  • Experience with proposal evaluations, price/cost analysis, and negotiations under FAR and DFAR regulations
  • Experience working with Statements of Work (SOW)
  • Knowledge of collective bargaining agreements (CBA) and labor contracts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience leading teams or project initiatives with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multitasking environment
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance

  • Working knowledge of U.S. Department of Defense contract types
  • SAP systems experience
  • Experience establishing new suppliers and managing supplier performance
  • Working knowledge of labor contracts
  • Understanding of Special Operations Forces (SOF) contracts
  • Experience managing competitive and non-competitive price agreements
  • Experience leading complex negotiations
  • Experience leading Subcontract Management Teams (SMT)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership and external partners

Responsibilities

  • Manage subcontracts from request for proposal through contract creation and full lifecycle execution
  • Oversee subcontract cost, schedule, and performance
  • Implement supplier corrective actions and drive return-to-green efforts
  • Provide status updates and reporting to senior and executive leadership
  • Collaborate with compliance teams to support audits
  • Mentor and support team members on complex subcontract activities as applicable
