Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college
3 years of demonstrated direct experience in Purchasing, Expediting or a related Supply Chain discipline
SAP or similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) experience
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Nice To Haves

Knowledge and experience buying under the guidelines of the FAR/DFAR, LMAP, CAP or other acquisition policies and procedures
Exhibit strong problem-solving and communication skills
Prior experience in a related industry preferred
Experience with supply chain activities, to include procurement systems, production schedules and IPT structures
Critical thinker / Problem solver
Demonstrated interpersonal and collaboration skills in a cross-functional team environment
Strong time management, organizational skills and effective verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

Manage a buyer’s desk focused on purchase activities and on-time delivery of frozen composite raw materials in support of Rotary product centers.
Serve as the primary interface with internal customers & stakeholders and with external subcontractors & suppliers.
Report status and performance metrics to product center management; ensure timely delivery and quality of services in support of program milestones.
Engage with cross-functional teams, such as Program Management, Operations, Supplier Quality and Engineering to achieve business objectives.
