About The Position

Manage subcontracts from request for proposal (RFP) through contract creation and lifecycle management. Monitor cost, schedule, and performance of subcontracts. Implement supplier corrective actions and "return to green" efforts as needed. Provide status reports to senior and executive leadership. Collaborate with Compliance to support audits. (LG4/LG5 only) Mentor and provide guidance on complex subcontracts, including Spec/SOW-driven contracts.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
  • Experience in government procurements/subcontract acquisitions (dependent on level).
  • Comprehensive understanding of global supply chain and complex government procurement practices.
  • Experience analyzing cost/price data and establishing negotiation positions.
  • Knowledge of proposal evaluations, price/cost analysis, and FAR/DFAR regulations.
  • Experience with Statements of Work (SOW), collective bargaining agreements (CBA), and labor contracts.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience leading teams and cross-functional projects, with critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be a U.S. person as defined under ITAR regulations.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) to comply with ITAR regulations.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of standard U.S. Department of Defense contract types.
  • SAP systems experience.
  • Ability to establish new suppliers and manage supplier performance.
  • Understanding of Special Operations Forces (SOF) contracts.
  • Experience with competitive and non-competitive price agreements.
  • Experience leading complex negotiations and subcontract management teams (SMT).
  • Effective communication with executive leadership, suppliers, and external stakeholders.
