About The Position

The Subaru Automotive Technician performs work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and/or franchise standards. Requirements

Two years in a dealership service department as a technician
ASE certifications are preferred.
Good communication skills
Multi-tasking skills
Computer skills a must.
High school diploma or the equivalent is preferred.
Must have good driving record.
Candidates must be able to pass a drug screening that tests for all substances excluding THC or prescribed medication and background check.

Responsibilities

Acts as a goodwill ambassador for the dealership by promoting professionalism and displaying excellent customer satisfaction skills.
Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems.
Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs.
Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers.
Inspect and test vehicles and record findings so that necessary repairs can be made.
Continue education to keep up with rapidly changing technology and with knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment AC equipment, etc.
Perform all duties in a safe manner following all company safety guidelines and policies.
Perform other duties as requested and assigned by the manager.
