Sub System Launch Manager

Stellantis•Auburn Hills, MI

About The Position

The Sub System Launch Manager is part of the Body, Chassis, Interior (BCI) Quality Team and is responsible for meeting project quality targets, managing launch timelines and deliverables, and ensuring a transition to quality volume production. The role manages engineering robustness and launch issue resolution through engineering principles and technical analysis before handover to manufacturing. It leads technical reviews, milestone status assessments, maturity-plan tracking, and manufacturing handover, while ensuring engineering objectives, technical requirements, and product maturity targets are achieved within project milestones. The position evaluates BCI part and assembly compliance and geometrical analysis; tracks industrial indicators, issue containment, rework timing, and assembly-plant perimeter; and manages part conformity, design validation, and change requests for launch vehicle issues. It also assesses launch-team safety and working quality, evaluates subcontractor capabilities, communicates progress to the team and Plant Management, and escalates technical issues with partners, suppliers, and subcontractors for timely resolution. The role may require short- or long-term assignments at manufacturing plants for 6–8 months.
