About The Position

Substitue Dental Hygienist (PRN / Fill-In Role – Accelerated Placement) We are seeking a dependable and patient-focused Substitute Dental Hygienist to support our Ohio market. This is a flexible PRN opportunity with multiple office locations available, allowing you to choose the office that works best for you. This is an accelerated placement opportunity, designed to quickly match qualified hygienists with immediate clinical needs. Our Colorado practices operate with a strong clinical leadership presence and a patient-first philosophy. Collaborative Hygiene Workflow We use a structured team-based model designed to support, not rush, the hygienist. Dedicated hygiene assistant assigned to you Delegation of x-rays, room turnover, instrument processing, polishing and fluoride Standard one-hour appointments for most procedures Extended time allowed for periodontal procedures as needed. Requirements

  • Active Ohio hygiene license
  • Strong clinical standards and perio focus
  • Team-oriented mindset
  • CPR/BLS Certification
  • Interest in maximizing production ethically and efficiently

Responsibilities

  • Provide oral hygiene services including prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, polishing, restorations, and application of preventive agents such as fluoride and sealants.
  • Accurately chart a review of patient dental history and update as necessary, patient's periodontal health, record provided treatment, and handle patient records securely and in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Provide assistance as directed by the dentist
  • Administer local anesthetics, if allowed by dental practice act
