The Nurse on our team will take the lead in delivering high-quality patient care by bringing curiosity and respect during intakes, evoking hope through group and individual clients check-ins, and sharing joy by facilitating a mind and body group for clients. You will have the opportunity to take part of quality improvements and review efforts to make a real impact. As the Nurse on our team you will work alongside our counselors, clinicians, a psychiatrist, and the program supervisor. ABOUT STEP The STEP (Skills, Transitions, Exploration and Progress) Program is located in Salinas, CA. STEP provides Day Treatment Intensive (DTI) , short-term stabilization services to youth, ages 12 - 17, for an average of 15 days. Our goal is to reintegrate our youth into schools and the community with lower levels of outpatient mental health treatment. All groups are designed to teach youth the skills necessary to help them learn about their mental health, provide psychoeducation, and help them learn skills to feel better and be safe.
