A Stylist contributes to driving sales through providing a genuine experience to each customer. This role involves acting as a brand representative, driving the store experience on the sales floor with an energized pace, and initiating conversations to share advice and product knowledge in a personalized, genuine way. Utilizing technology to stay informed about store and online events and offers is key to enhancing the customer experience from an omni perspective. The Stylist also contributes to an inclusive and people-first philosophy by being positive, respectful, and helpful to others, collaborating with peers and leadership, and actively participating in meetings and initiatives. They will also participate in learning and sharing product knowledge, current trends, and personal styling priorities to inspire the customer. Maintaining Free People’s visual and operational standards while keeping the focus on the customer is essential, as is supporting the shipment process to gain awareness of new products. Adherence to store safety standards, inventory accuracy, reduction of product loss, and all company policies and procedures are required to support store profitability.
