About The Position

This position serves as a Senior Clinical Research Participant Coordinator within the Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center’s Cellular Therapy Program. The program is one of a select few academic centers in the United States with the scientific, technical, and clinical capabilities to identify new tumor targets, develop, and infuse novel CAR-T therapy.

The Senior Clinical Research Participant Coordinator has full knowledge of research and independently plans, organizes, and evaluates clinical research participant management and data collection for a variety of complex clinical research protocols. The role leads efforts to evaluate and modify data collection and recruitment methods, liaises between study staff, participants, and clinical staff, and collects data. The coordinator also facilitates integration of research activities into the clinical care environment, communicates information to a variety of individuals and groups, and instructs and educates clinical staff and providers.
