This position is responsible for planning and facilitating no-fail studio art lessons at the Museum for approximately 6-10 hours per week for approximately 32 weeks of the year. While this position primarily facilitates workshops in conjunction with guided field trips, it may also assist with art activities for programs beyond guided field trips, including annual Community Day festivals, Reynolda on the House workshops, and occasionally monthly family workshops. Enthusiastically teaches students of all ages, including adults and individuals with disabilities. Demonstrates care and attention to individual and group needs. Additionally assists with some administrative tasks of the department, specifically data input and contract creation and sharing for group tours at Reynolda. This position's teaching work will be carried out on-site at Reynolda. Some preparatory work will also happen on-site, though planning and data input can occur remotely.
