The Studio Support Specialist is responsible for project builds and ongoing maintenance of our studios’ gaming floor environments. Requirements

  • Secondary (higher, technical) education or equivalent experience.
  • Experience using hand and power tools
  • Understanding of and ability to apply/interpret measurements and related tools
  • Experience working with assorted building materials (e.g. wood, metal, tile, plastic, carpet, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of electricity and electrical wiring concepts
  • Ability to interpret and follow detailed written and verbal instruction
  • Basic computer skills (e.g. email, instant messaging, MS Office or similar apps, etc.).
  • Basic knowledge of how Audio/Visual technology functions and willingness to learn more advanced aspects of A/V systems.
  • Punctuality, reliability and experience working with a team.
  • Willingness and ability to occasionally travel (within NA and abroad).
  • Willingness to work overtime when required and to be available for emergency situations.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Nice To Haves

  • More advanced IT knowledge is greatly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Build, install and maintain the studios and associated elements (gaming tables, cameras, microphones, cabling lights, decorative elements and studio floor infrastructure). Help establish and refine build processes, plan resources, meet deadlines.
  • Be aware of and follow regulations (Gaming Regulations, Evolution Policies, OSHA compliance, etc.).
  • Request, order, maintain and be responsible for assigned equipment, tools and materials.
  • Participate in training activities and participate in new employees’ training.
  • Prepare and provide occasional reports, provide needed information to team members and other departments.
  • Perform other duties, as asked by the Team Lead and Manager, which are related to this position
  • Replace colleagues during their vacations, sick leave and other absences. Replacement takes place during normal working hours and it is not considered additional work.
