About The Position

Little, a nationally recognized "Best Firm to Work For" and a progressive design firm, has an opportunity for a Studio Principal to lead its Healthcare Studio in Charlotte, NC. This role involves leading a team of architects, planners, and designers, with a focus on developing and growing the studio. Requirements

• Registered Architect.
• 10+ years of experience in the healthcare architecture & design industry.
• Deep healthcare experience in North Carolina.
• Experience as an account or client manager, including financial management.
• Strong experience with Business development.
• You're a very strong listener, genuinely interested in people, and able to build followership among teammates and clients alike.
• You are collaborative in your workstyle, always looking for a new way to do things.
• You’re a great communicator – whether verbally or in written form, people understand your ideas, and the way you share them.
• You are a good mentor – the people that you work with feel that you have their best interests at heart.
• You have an extensive background in healthcare planning and design.
• You are a resourceful and creative problem solver, and you are motivated and energetic.
• You are interested in the drivers and ideas impacting the current and future Healthcare industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of architects, planners, and designers to develop and grow the Healthcare Studio in Charlotte, NC.
• Lead the Healthcare Studio in Charlotte with support from studios in Charlotte, Durham, and Charleston.
• Be a leader in the Charlotte, NC office and part of the firm-wide Corporate Leadership team.
• Be directly involved with clients and their goals from the start.
• Work with the Office President and Healthcare Practice Leader to create a long-term strategic plan to grow the Studio and client mix.
• Have a high degree of autonomy and responsibility for the Studio.
• Develop new business and relationships with hospital clients.
• Manage a team of people.
