About The Position

VASA Fitness is hiring a STUDIO Pilates Instructor to help launch and establish its new boutique reformer Pilates experience. The instructor will deliver safe, effective, engaging classes that help members build strength, confidence, mobility, and body awareness, while creating a welcoming community and an exceptional member experience. The role includes executing VASA’s STUDIO Pilates programming and brand standards, encouraging participation, and helping grow awareness and retention for the new offering.

Requirements

• Pilates Mat Certification required.
• Current CPR/AED Certification, or willingness to obtain it within 30 days of hire.
• Strong understanding of movement patterns, alignment, body mechanics, and safe exercise progressions.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
• Positive, professional, and inclusive approach.
• Passion for fitness and helping people reach their goals.
• Openness to feedback and commitment to continuous learning and development.

Nice To Haves

• Reformer Certification strongly preferred.
• Experience teaching Pilates, group fitness, or similar movement-based classes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach safe, effective, and engaging reformer Pilates classes.
• Execute VASA’s STUDIO Pilates programming and brand standards consistently.
• Create a welcoming environment that builds connection and community.
• Grow class participation and help members discover the value of STUDIO Pilates.
• Support member engagement through exceptional experiences and meaningful relationships.
• Execute the STUDIO Welcome Experience and create positive first impressions for new and prospective members.
• Coach members of all fitness levels using appropriate modifications and progressions.
• Maintain an elevated studio environment through cleanliness, organization, and attention to detail.
• Collaborate with club leadership and fitness teams to grow awareness and excitement around the Pilates program.
• Promote classes, build relationships, and generate excitement around the STUDIO Pilates experience.
• Embrace feedback, continue professional development, and help establish STUDIO Pilates as a successful long-term offering.
