About The Position

The Studio Lead is a local leader responsible for the architecture studio’s day-to-day operations, team development, client partnerships, and operational performance. Reporting directly to the COO of Regional Operations, this role contributes to the firm’s strategic growth and operational excellence. The Studio Lead works with Project Managers, Architects, and Program Managers to deliver high-quality projects, support client satisfaction and growth, and maintain a collaborative, accountable, and innovative studio environment.

Requirements

Must be a Licensed Professional Architect (RA).
10–15 years of progressive experience in architecture.
Proven track record with commercial retail roll-outs.
Demonstrated success managing an architectural office or studio and leading multidisciplinary teams.
Exceptional relationship-building skills with internal staff and high-level external clients.

Responsibilities

Direct the day-to-day operations of the architecture studio and foster a positive, collaborative environment built on accountability and innovation.
Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensure exceptional satisfaction, and identify opportunities for organic growth alongside Program Managers.
Collaborate with Project Managers and Architects to support seamless project delivery, technical precision, and adherence to quality standards.
Drive studio profitability through budget management, resource planning, and risk mitigation.
Implement and refine quality-control measures to ensure designs meet architectural standards and best practices.
Maintain a secure and compliant studio environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
