Studio Instructor
About The Position
Midtown Athletic Club is seeking a Studio Instructor to teach and motivate members to achieve their goals. The role offers the opportunity to lead classes across multiple boutique studios and unique spaces, with education and programs intended to support instructors’ growth in fitness. Instructors combine performance and teaching, bringing their passions to Midtown’s signature programs. They lead classes with their own style and personality to create experiences that engage, energize, and challenge members. Midtown encourages associates to learn, coach members, and build a career with the club. The listed duties and requirements are general and not exhaustive; other duties may be assigned as needed for department operations.
Requirements
- A passion for crafting inspiring experiences.
- A love of coaching and movement.
- Maintain at least one nationally recognized Group Fitness or Personal Training certification.
Responsibilities
- Build a community among members.
- Deliver experiential classes.
- Inspire members while fostering a “yearn to return” culture.
- Lead classes in signature programs using an individual style and personality.
