About The Position

The Studio Coordinator (SC) role is an entry-level position at CorePower Yoga, designed to support world-class studio operations and maintain the highest health and safety standards. The SC works alongside the Studio Manager to achieve company and studio-level goals, including membership growth, retail sales, community outreach, and teacher recruitment. This role provides an opportunity to learn the business and develop the skills necessary to operate a studio.

Requirements

  • Must demonstrate CorePower Yoga Core Values.
  • Excellent oral communication skills, professionalism, and exceptional interpersonal skills are required.
  • Experience in Customer Service required.
  • Familiar and comfortable in studio systems such as the HRIS, intranet, point of sale systems, company scheduling and payroll systems, etc.
  • Ability to build relationships with individuals with diverse personalities and styles and at different levels of seniority.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can prioritize while working under multiple deadlines.
  • Proven self-starter with ability to take on new projects with enthusiasm.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
  • Excellent Time Management skills.
  • Ability to take initiative and prioritize.
  • Must be able to move around the studio space, crouch, reach, and lift up to 25 lbs.
  • If certified to teach, must be able to step in to teach class with little to no notice while scheduled in the studio.

Nice To Haves

  • Completion of a Yoga Alliance certified 200-hour program is preferred.
  • Yoga Sculpt teacher training is preferred.
  • College (BA/BS) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Act as an ambassador of the CorePower Yoga Core Values and inspire these values in others.
  • Support the Studio Manager in achieving company and studio level goals.
  • Commit to a flexible schedule of 18-29 hours per week, including operations coordination, health and safety protocol execution, front desk guidance, and team support.
  • Serve as the studio-level point of contact for students and staff when the Studio Manager is not present.
  • Support maintaining an appropriate level of studio supply inventory.
  • Engage with and get to know the studio community, greeting students by name and fostering community at the front desk.
  • Support teachers with learning the POS and other pre/post-class duties.
  • Uphold high standards for the studio's cleanliness and functionality, ensuring a safe environment, optimum heat and humidity, inspiring music, and clean, clutter-free surroundings.
  • Support communication around Smart Health Protocol to students.
  • Act as an extension of the Studio Experience Team (SET), including cleaning the studio, stocking amenities, and ensuring cleanliness protocols are followed.
  • Support coordination of the Studio Experience Team (SET), including shift scheduling, stepping in for no-call/no-shows, and training.
  • Lead Orientation for new Studio Experience Team members and train them on cleanliness protocol and role expectations.
  • Act as a liaison between the Studio Manager and the teaching and SET teams for training, communication, and coordination of studio operational systems (POS, Online Reservation System, Subbing Application, HRIS Application, Help Desk).
  • Teach a minimum of 6 classes per week of branded CorePower Yoga classes and support the studio by subbing additional classes as needed.
