About The Position
The Studio Artist at Madame Tussauds New York is responsible for maintaining the red-carpet readiness of wax figures through regular maintenance, touch-ups, and repairs. This role involves restoring damaged figures to ensure they remain lifelike and camera-ready, as well as installing and styling figures, including positioning and lighting, to meet brand standards. The Studio Artist will also manage maintenance schedules, budgets, and quality goals, and prepare, pack, transport, and set up figures for various events and research activities. Additionally, the position requires representing the Madame Tussauds brand at special events and celebrity appearances, monitoring guest feedback for continuous improvement, and collaborating with management and operations teams. Adherence to health, safety, and brand guidelines, along with maintaining detailed maintenance records, is crucial.

Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, touch-ups, and repairs on wax figures to keep them red-carpet ready.
- Restore damaged figures to ensure they look lifelike and camera-ready.
- Install and style figures, including positioning and lighting, to meet brand standards.
- Manage maintenance schedules, budgets, and quality goals.
- Prepare, pack, transport, and set up figures for PR events, offsite appearances, and research activities.
- Represent the Madame Tussauds brand at special events and celebrity appearances.
- Monitor guest feedback and continuously improve figure quality and realism.
- Collaborate with managers and operations teams to deliver world-class guest experiences.
- Follow all health, safety, and brand guidelines.
- Keep detailed maintenance records.
