About The Position

This role is responsible for leading and serving in corporate worship and equipping the saints. The position will lead corporate worship, spearhead and support the development of student worship leaders and volunteer musicians, and serve as a key strategic Developer for the student Contemporary Worship Department. The role also acts as a Supporter, aiding other worship leaders in training and overseeing the development process in contemporary worship to align with Christ Chapel's standards. Additionally, the role involves administrative functions for the contemporary student worship department and may take on special short-term assignments as a Project Manager for church initiatives related to worship. Specifically, this role oversees worship for all student ministries (5th-12th grade), including recruitment, auditions, and training of students. It involves coaching and training campus student worship staff, managing Planning Centers, and overseeing budgets for these services. The position requires attendance at student worship department and production/service meetings, serving as needed, and observing services. Support is also provided to other CCBC services, including main services and worship for various ministries like MSM/HSM, Women in the Word, Men’s ministry, Soul Care, and Missions. The role may serve in support and music director capacities rather than always being the front-line leader. The position reports directly to the Fort Worth Worship Leader.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior ministry experience is desirable.
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee worship for all student ministries from 5th grade - 12th grade.
  • Oversee recruitment, auditions, and training of students for worship leading.
  • Coach and train campus student worship staff.
  • Maintain and oversee all Planning Centers pertaining to student services.
  • Manage and maintain budgets for student services.
  • Attend all student worship department meetings and production/service meetings.
  • Serve as needed and observe services.
  • Support services across CCBC, including main services and worship for other ministries (MSM/HSM, Women in the Word, Men’s ministry, Soul Care, Missions, etc.).
  • Serve in support and music director roles as needed.
  • Support Contemporary Student Worship in administration and processes involved with worship team development (paid musicians and volunteers).
  • Lead/support special event services as needed for student ministries.
  • Assist the Contemporary Worship Team in recruiting, auditioning, and developing musicians for Contemporary Worship teams.
  • Support Middle School Ministry/High School Ministry services and student development across all Christ Chapel campuses.
  • Assist in shepherding leaders, musicians, and volunteer worship team members.
  • Perform other tasks and projects as assigned by the Assistant Director of Contemporary Worship.
  • Attend the Contemporary Worship Department meetings.
  • Attend Student Ministries Department meetings.
  • Plan services, alongside the Student Ministries Department.
  • Initiate and participate in the audition/selection processes for student musicians and vocalists.
  • Participate and contribute to church-wide worship initiatives.
