About The Position

The College/Unit of Student Engagement is seeking applicants for a part-time opening of the Office of Student Engagement Student Worker. The Office of Student Engagement within the Division of Student Affairs invites applications for an undergraduate student part-time for the following roles within the office. This is a 10-15 hours/week, $15.00/hr. hourly job.

Requirements

• Must be a current/incoming Penn State Harrisburg student.
• Must be in good disciplinary standing with the University.
• Must be a team player.
• Must be a self-starter who demonstrates preemptive thinking.
• Must pay extreme attention to detail.
• Must have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Must possess strong organizational skills.
• Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office/Excel.
• Must have proficiency in management of social media platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and leadership organizing and implementing co-curricular opportunities for our diverse student community such as Welcome Week, Fall Fest, Spring Fling, Nittany Excellence Gala, De-Stress Fest, Leadership Symposium & NSO among other events.
• Provide daytime front desk support including posting flyers, managing lost & found, answering phones, greeting guests, and game & equipment sign-out.
• Provide evening support in the SEC living room and monitor game & equipment when necessary.
• Other duties as assigned based on the needs of the evolving office responsibilities.
