About The Position
The Nevada State Public Health Laboratory seeks a temporary, reliable, professional student worker to support daily laboratory operations by transporting specimens to and from local hospitals and reference laboratories. Availability for other laboratory functions as needed. This is a temporary position. Please email your availability as soon as possible.
Requirements
- Candidate must be currently enrolled at the University of Nevada, Reno
- Candidate must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Candidate must have excellent customer service experience
- Candidate must be dependable and detail-oriented
- Candidate has ability to maintain organized and has time management skills
Responsibilities
- Pick up samples from hospitals and reference labs
- Other laboratory data functions as needed.
