About The Position

The Health, Physical Education, and Recreation (HPER) Department at Lorain County Community College is seeking dependable and motivated student employees to serve as Welcome Desk Attendants. This position serves as the first friendly point of contact for students, staff, and community members accessing HPER facilities. It is responsible for providing high-quality customer service while positively implementing HPER policies and procedures in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and logging eligible participants in and out of the facility
• Answering general questions
• Signing patrons up for memberships
• Assisting with the set-up and breakdown of rentals, athletic events, and classes
• Cleaning equipment
• Performing laundry duties
• Maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the HPER facilities
• Collaborating with HPER staff to ensure smooth daily operations
• Providing a welcoming, professional experience for all participants
