About The Position

The Sunday @ 9 coordinator is to oversee and facilitate all aspects of the student lead worship services. They work closely with the worship team, Campus ministries staff, and other stakeholders to plan and execute meaningful worship experiences that align with the spiritual needs and values of the community. This role will help manage budgeting, social media promotions, and ongoing development with Campus Ministries staff. Must be available 8pm - 10:30pm on Sunday nights that worship service is happening.

Requirements

Must be enrolled as a student at Friends University.
Ability to manage logistics, schedules, and resources efficiently to ensure smooth operations.
Clear and effective communication skills to interact with teammates, musicians and attendees.
Punctuality is crucial.
Professionalism is essential.

Responsibilities

Scheduling worship leaders, musicians, and technical support staff.
Coordinating the selection of music and liturgy.
Ensuring the smooth flow of worship services.
Providing leadership in incorporating diverse worship styles and creative elements to enhance the worship experience.
Managing budgeting.
Managing social media promotions.
Ongoing development with Campus Ministries staff.
Maintaining regular attendance at chapel services, Sundays @9 rehearsals, if needed, and meetings.
Ensuring thorough preparation for assigned duties, including setup, cleanup, and logistical tasks.
Arriving on time for all scheduled events and fulfilling responsibilities promptly.
Representing Friends University and Campus Ministries with respect, integrity, and professionalism.
