About The Position

The Administrative Student Associate is a student employee responsible for assisting with details surrounding Intramural Sports, Outdoor Adventure, Club Sports, Fitness, Aquatics, Member Services, Communications, Camps, and supporting Campus Recreation professional staff. This role will primarily assist with administrative tasks related to Summer Camps, ensuring efficient daily operations and a safe and positive experience for all participants.

Requirements

  • Must have good communication skills; be positive, assertive, organized, proactive.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous customer service experience preferred.
  • CPR/AED Certification is preferred.
  • Computer/technical literacy is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors entering the Campus Recreation office.
  • Answer and direct incoming calls.
  • Maintain SLC Room Schedules.
  • Distribute SLC facility calendars.
  • Assist with all Campus Recreation and Camp administration and activities.
  • Assist with organization and inventory of workroom and supply closets.
  • Assist with set up and take down of equipment for various rooms and events.
  • Distribute mail and packages within the SLC.
  • Assist in the opening/closing of the Campus Recreation office.
  • Assist the Office Manager with Reservations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
