About The Position
The Blinn Ambassador Program is a unique program through which students communicate their enthusiasm about Blinn college. Selection is based on communication skills, academic standing, leadership, composure, responsibility, and availability to perform clerical duties and other required tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum 2.5 GPA (Submit unofficial transcript printed from MyBlinn or High School)
- Must be federal work study eligible
- Ability to communicate effectively to large groups
- Good leadership skills
- Sensitive to individuals who require special assistance
- Value diversity
- Available to work approximately 15 hours per semester
Nice To Haves
- Experience with public speaking and giving presentations to small and large groups.
Responsibilities
- Provide tours for prospective students and their families
- Speak to school and civic groups
- Assist with recruiting activities
- Perform clerical and other duties as assigned
