About The Position
The STEM Department is seeking a dependable student worker to help ensure that STEM Animal Care Lab animals are cared for each day and that daily information is entered into Animal Care Software before leaving the lab. This role is also responsible for training new summer animal care volunteers and filling in shifts when a volunteer is not available. The position requires ensuring that countertops, habitat hoods, and floors are free of debris. The working hours are 8 am - 12 pm, Monday - Friday.
Requirements
- Must be enrolled as a student at Friends University.
- Zoo Science Major.
- Critical thinking skills.
- Ability to care for all animals in a lab setting.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Responsibilities
