About The Position

This position involves assisting in the upkeep, repair, and maintenance of Regent Village. Responsibilities may include landscape maintenance, responding to residents’ maintenance requests, and performing apartment turnarounds. Tasks can involve painting, minor carpentry, minor plumbing, minor electrical work, mowing, weed-whacking, other grounds work, moving furniture, and pressure washing. This role may be filled by an undergraduate student, graduate student, or other part-time worker.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required
• Availability to work at Regent during the summer months
• Attitude is the most important attribute, with a willingness to work physically and take instruction
• Eagerness to learn new skills and concepts
• Ability to work as part of a team

Nice To Haves

• Some degree of mechanical aptitude and/or maintenance experience is helpful, but training is provided
