About The Position

Virginia Commonwealth University Health System is seeking to inspire students to learn more about careers at VCUHS to achieve their full potential personally and professionally during their school year. Under direct department supervision, a Student Worker will assist with various assigned duties/projects to include clerical and administrative assignments (filing, data entry, processing of work orders, analyzing data, scanning, etc.), special projects, or other job related duties as assigned. The role aims to provide students with practical experience within a healthcare environment.

Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled as a first-year or second-year VCU Master of Health Administration (MHA) student
• Strong customer service skills
• Highly organized
• Detail-oriented
• Demonstrate courteous communication skills both orally and in writing
• Ability to utilize email programs such as Microsoft Outlook
• Experience using Excel or MS Word
