About The Position

This position involves washing and drying dishes to established standards, assisting the chef with food preparation, and maintaining a clean and functional workspace. Responsibilities include sweeping and mopping floors, transporting trash to the dumpster, washing and cutting vegetables, and refilling containers and cleaning dish carts. The role requires the use of a dishwashing machine, brooms, and mops, with the ability to stand for extended periods and follow kitchen standards.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s program or Master’s program
• Must retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student
• Must maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University
• Ability to stand for several hours
• Ability to follow kitchen standards
• Always on time
• Work as a team
• Responsible and hardworking; willing to learn
