About The Position
The Facilities GIS Student Assistant helps maintain and improve Baylor’s campus mapping and data systems, with a focus on ArcGIS Online (AGOL), ArcGIS Pro, and mobile field tools. The student will support routine GIS maintenance, strategic data and app improvements, and field work tied to UAV and ground survey projects.
Requirements
- Must be a student.
- Proficiency in ArcGIS Online (AGOL), ArcGIS Pro, and mobile field tools.
- Ability to work 10-15 hours per week during the semester (flexible around class schedule).
Nice To Haves
- Experience with UAV and ground survey projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist with functions specific to University buildings, grounds upkeep, repairs/maintenance, furniture/equipment, or sanitation.
- Maintain and improve Baylor’s campus mapping and data systems, with a focus on ArcGIS Online (AGOL), ArcGIS Pro, and mobile field tools.
- Support routine GIS maintenance.
- Support strategic data and app improvements.
- Support field work tied to UAV and ground survey projects.
