About The Position
The University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) is recruiting for a student worker in the Office of Marketing & Communications. As a student worker in this office, you will be an integral part of the department’s communications efforts.
Requirements
- Candidate must be enrolled at the University of Nevada, Reno
- Candidate has experience with photography and videography
- Candidate has beginning knowledge of Associated Press writing style
- Candidate has familiarity with Adobe Premier, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Candidate is familiar with social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Snapchat)
- We request at least a two-semester commitment from student worker, with desire to work over summer
Nice To Haves
- Candidate is majoring in Journalism, Marketing, English, Business, Fine Art, or a related field
Responsibilities
- Develop multimedia content
- Production/editing of photos and videos
- Create content for the University’s main social media accounts
