Student Worker - AI Peer Consultant
About The Position
The AI Peer Consultant serves as a first-line resource for business students seeking to integrate Generative AI tools into their academic workflows and professional development. Housed within the Technology Center’s Technology Commons, this role focuses on promoting "AI Literacy" by guiding peers on how to use AI creatively, effectively, and responsibly. The Consultant will provide one-on-one assistance, create guides and examples of applications, and help students move beyond basic prompting to purposeful, career-aligned applications of AI technology that enhance both their studies and future readiness.
Requirements
- Business student at Baylor University
- Familiarity with Generative AI tools
- Ability to guide peers on creative, effective, and responsible AI use
- Skills in providing one-on-one assistance
- Ability to create guides and examples of AI applications
- Understanding of career-aligned applications of AI technology
