About The Position
THIS IS FOR CURRENT MNU STUDENTS ONLY WE ACCEPT BOTH FEDERAL WORK STUDY AND NON-FEDERAL WORK STUDY STUDENTS The tutor will work with individual students and groups of students to determine levels of understanding, answer questions, and help students to understand subject matter. Applicants must have passed the subject with a B grade or higher and must provide a faculty recommendation or transcript from the institution where they are/were enrolled.
Requirements
- B grade or higher in subject area.
- Recommendation from faculty or transcript
- Demonstrated commitment to and understanding of the interests of historically underrepresented groups.

Responsibilities
- Complete required tutor training.
- Provide tutoring services in a one-on-one and group setting.
- Help students clarify course expectations and prepare for tests.
- Share strategies for student success during tutoring sessions
- Tidy work areas.
- Maintain electronic records.
- Assist with departmental duties and workshops as assigned.
