About The Position

Eligible participants in approved school-partnered work experience programs are invited to apply for a casual part-time Host, Greenhouse role with Kohler Hospitality. In this role, participants will support the Greenhouse café team by performing guest-focused host responsibilities, while gaining practical workplace experience in a structured, supervised environment. Applicants must meet the eligibility requirements of the approved school-partnered program and be able to perform the essential functions of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation. The program objectives are to develop job readiness and workplace skills, foster independence and responsibility, provide hands-on experience in a community business setting, enhance social and communication skills, and support transition planning for post-graduation success.

Requirements

• Eligible for approved school-partnered work experience programs
• Oostburg High School Students
• Authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
• Able to perform the essential functions of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers
• Assisting with simple transactions (as appropriate)
• Maintaining a welcoming environment
• Preparing basic menu items (e.g., assembling pastries, pouring drinks)
• Restocking supplies and ingredients
• Maintaining cleanliness of prep areas
• Wiping tables and counters
• Washing dishes or loading dishwashers
• Organizing inventory and storage areas
• Assisting staff with daily operational tasks
• Following routines and checklists
• Practicing time management and task completion
