About The Position

WICB-FM is seeking a Production Director for the Spring 2027 semester. This role is responsible for all on-air content that is not music or voice, including creating station imagers, music separators, PSAs, promos, and legal IDs. The Production Director will also manage the station's podcast network and provide assistance with podcast production. This position is ideal for students interested in the technical aspects of radio or audio production.

Requirements

• Comfortable using audio recording and editing software.
• Motivated.
• Organized and detail-oriented.
• Strong communicator both in-person and via email.
• Has been a member of VIC Radio for at least one semester.
• A collaborative team player.

Responsibilities

• Handle anything on the air that isn’t music or your voice.
• Make new station imagers, new music separators, PSAs, promos, legal IDs, and more.
• Manage the station's podcast network.
• Assist with the podcast production process.
• Attend weekly VIC Radio Executive Staff meetings.
• Attend General Staff meetings.
