About The Position

VIC Radio is seeking a Production Director for the Spring 2027 semester. This role is responsible for all on-air content that is not music or direct voice content. The Production Director will create new station imagers, music separators, PSAs, promos, legal IDs, and other audio elements. Additionally, they will manage the station's podcast network and provide assistance with the podcast production process. This position is ideal for students interested in the technical aspects of radio or audio production.

Requirements

• Comfortable using audio recording and editing software.
• Motivated.
• Organized and detail-oriented.
• Strong communicator both in-person and via email.
• Able to attend weekly VIC Radio Executive Staff meetings and General Staff meetings.
• Has been a member of VIC Radio for at least one semester.
• Collaborative team player.

Responsibilities

• Handle anything on the air that isn’t music or your voice.
• Make new station imagers, new music separators, PSAs, promos, legal IDs, and more.
• Manage the station's podcast network.
• Assist with the podcast production process.
