About The Position

A student academic tutor will tutor student-athletes in various courses. All tutoring takes place in the McClendon Center for Intercollegiate Athletics and is scheduled based on student-athlete needs and tutor availability. Sessions include 1–3 student-athletes and are expected to last 45 minutes.

Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled as a University of Oklahoma student during the Spring 2026 term; hiring is contingent upon verification of current student status.
• Must have earned a B or higher in the specific course or have been awarded a degree in that area.
• Must be capable of tutoring the specified courses.
• Must be able to communicate course material effectively and engage positively with student-athletes.
• Must be willing and able to communicate and build relationships with various groups of students.
• Must be willing and able to gain and maintain working knowledge of university, SEC, and NCAA rules and regulations.
• Must be willing and able to adhere to standards of conduct for Athletics Academics Tutorial Staff.
• Required attachments: resume, academic transcripts, and Spring 2026 OU class schedule.
• Hiring is contingent upon a background check.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working as a tutor for undergraduate or graduate students.
