About The Position
The Newman University Theatre Department is looking for a student worker to assist with building and technology needs for the Music and Theatre productions. This position is ideal for a student seeking hands-on experience in theatrical production.
Requirements
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must be a current Newman University student enrolled full-time (12 credit hours per semester)
- Electrical and carpentry skills
- Knowledge and experience with power tools
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Must work well with others in a team setting
Responsibilities
- Work in the shop and build sets
- Hang and focus lights
- Run sound and production work for Music, Theatre, and campus events
- Run errands as needed
