About The Position

The Student Technology Center Technician assists students with hardware and software issues. This position involves working closely with students, staff, and faculty, requiring strong customer service skills. Responsibilities include answering technical questions, troubleshooting issues, and managing equipment check-outs for students, faculty, and staff. Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is essential, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or formal education equivalent
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Nice To Haves

  • Prior customer service experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the operations of personal computers and the functions of the software
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud
