About The Position

The College of Business at Oregon State University is hiring one part-time student employee to provide grading and general support for ACTG 321. The position pays $16.55 per hour and is scheduled for 5 hours per week, with a maximum of 24 hours per week. The anticipated start date is January 6, 2027; no end date is provided. Students in this role can develop communication, critical-thinking, and professionalism skills. Applicants must meet OSU student employment eligibility and academic standing requirements. This is a critical or security-sensitive position and requires a successful Criminal History Check and a determination that the incumbent is position-qualified. A review of the National Sex Offender Public website will be conducted before hire. Job offers are contingent upon final Human Resources approval.

Requirements

Must be academically enrolled in a high school, community college, or university and pursuing a program or course of study.
Must meet Academic Standing Requirements; students on academic suspension are not eligible for employment.
Must meet the applicable minimum enrollment standard: high school students must be regularly enrolled in high school or participating in a home-schooling program; undergraduate and post-baccalaureate students must take 6 credit hours per term; undergraduate international students must take 12 credit hours per term; graduate students officially admitted to Graduate School must take 5 credit hours per term; graduate international students officially admitted to Graduate School must take 9 credit hours per term.
International students with an approved reduced course load must provide approval from the Office of International Services to the Student Employment Center.
Must successfully complete a Criminal History Check and be determined to be position-qualified.
Must self-report convictions.
