About The Position
We are seeking a compassionate, highly organized, and reliable Student Support Specialist to join our adult education team. This role is dedicated exclusively to the student journey, ensuring adult learners have the guidance and encouragement they need from onboarding through academic success. As adult learners face unique challenges of balancing families, employment, and education, this position requires a deeply empathetic individual who understands their specific needs. This is a part-time, grant-funded position averaging 12 hours per week across 44 weeks per year, aligned with the academic calendar. Continued employment and total scheduled hours are contingent upon the availability of grant funding. While the position is currently established at 12 hours weekly, the organization actively pursues additional funding opportunities to support increased hours.
