The Student Support Coordinator, under general supervision, supports strategic programming to promote access, retention, and success for students transitioning from Early College High School (ECHS) programs into Texas A&M University–San Antonio. This position plays a key role in managing the Greater Texas Foundation (GTF) Scholars Program and provides targeted services for first-time in college (FTIC) students with ECHS backgrounds who are not part of the GTF cohort. This role involves student support, outreach, and cross-campus coordination to ensure a smooth academic and social transition for ECHS students. The Student Support Coordinator also oversees the GTF Peer Mentor Program and supports pathway alignment with ECHS partners. This is a term-limited, grant-funded position with an anticipated end date of September 30, 2030. Extension is dependent upon additional funding. This is a grant-funded position. Grant funded positions are time-limited and are contingent upon sufficient grant funding.
