Requirements

  • Master’s degree from an accredited college/university, preferably in Higher Education, Educational Management, Educational Leadership, Public Administration, Disability Studies, Special Education, Communication, Counseling, or related field.
  • Three years of relevant experience in a role that directly supports students and student success initiatives.
  • One year of supervisory experience.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • This position requires a criminal background check, which may include a Level II screening as required by Florida Statute §435.04.
  • This position is subject to federal and state privacy regulations.

  • Experience with assessment, strategic planning, and retention initiatives.
  • Knowledge of student success strategies

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and operational oversight for the Student Success Center.
  • Lead the ongoing analysis and evaluation of campus-wide student success needs.
  • Oversee the development and delivery of student success training, materials, workshops, seminars, programs, and professional development initiatives.
  • Support student retention through data-informed interventions.
  • Serve on university committees.
  • Develop, implement, evaluate, and assess programs and services that support student success and retention.
  • Utilize data, predictive analytics, and assessment methods to identify trends and inform interventions.
  • Collaborate with campus and community partners.
  • Represent the Student Success Center at campus-wide events (i.e., Admission events, University Commencement).
  • Other duties as assigned.
